The
last few years we have been flooded with a ton of detox/weight loss
programs. The Chocolate Diet, Tomato Juice Diet, Fasting and much much
more. Unfortunately because of all this one of them (that actually works)
has taken a major hit with the cynics. It has been called the lemon
detox, the lemon diet and other names. However, its actual name is The Master Cleanse.
In some circles it has become trendy. In others it has been abused and
then shunned as to its ineffectiveness. The reality is this. Your body
DOES fill up with toxins which WILL increase your weight. Also, what
your body needs to function, on a short term basis, can be found in a
handful of ingredients.
The
Master Cleanse has been tested and approved since 1940. It is designed
as a full body cleanse. The really nice side effect is that you do
indeed drop weight. And fast! I personally have used it and in 9 days I
dropped 20 Pounds of recently gained ugly fat. In later years I tested
it as part of my tool kit for weight maintenance. Here is what I have
found. If you follow the cleanse to the letter you will have a caffeine
withdrawal (if you are hooked on it) that makes you want to die for the
first 3 days, then it is over. Then you will notice the weight just
dropping every day.....3 pounds a day is the usual. Also you will not be
tired or hungry...weird huh? But True! I know! And after 9-12 days you
can ease yourself off exactly like the book says to do OR you can choose
to do what so many have done and IGNORE the warnings of the book and
just make yourself sick from eating right away.
A
word of caution about the ingredients. Don't be a idiot and try to
substitute the natural stuff for regular stuff. It is the regular stuff
that gives us problems. If you can't find the good stuff, contact me and
I can tell you where and how to get it. Again, it will not break your
wallet to use the natural ingredients and your body will thank you for
it.
Done properly and BY THE BOOK you will be cleaner, safe and thinner. It is not hard or expensive. I talked to my doctor about the ingredients and he admitted that they were the basic items needed for the body. As to using it for maintenance, I do this - 2 -3 glasses starting around 3pm and spread out over a 4 hour period. This will do one of 2 things for you, #1 you will drop a little weight each week or #2 you will stay even. The trick is to stay on track and don't shit up the rest of your diet with crap.
You can get the book on new Amazon for around $7.00 or used for about $3.00. You will see other books out there. I don't know about them. All I know is that if you have this one, you have the original one that I used.
